Big Cedar Fever 6.25.19

Big Cedar Fever, performs American songbook classics and original tunes around one microphone reminiscent of a time far-gone. Performing their classic Western swing and jazz, they have become a go to act for hordes of swing dancers and lindy-hoppers across the state of Texas and beyond. They stopped by Studio 1A to play a few classics and originals ahead of their EP release show this Friday, June 28th, at the Cactus Cafe.

Their EP, recorded locally at Austin Signal Studio is apart of the single mic series: all tracks were recorded live around a single large diaphragm condenser mic not unlike the way they performed these tracks in Studio 1A. Drawing you in with tight musical harmonies and dynamic instrumentals, Big Cedar Fever are a blast from Texas’ past that’s worth a listen.
