Birds of Chicago is a fantastic band made up of duo JT Nero (aka Jeremy Lindsay) and Allison Russell, two talented singer-songwriters with mesmerizing voices and impressive songwriting skills. Lindsay and Russell each had respective bands before Birds of Chicago came together, and they frequently collaborated together. Just one genre isn’t enough to describe the mesmerizing music of Birds of Chicago, which contains elements of folk, indie pop, country, and mountain gospel, just to name a few. Their songs explore themes including hope, despair, and love, and they’re taking their music on an international tour promoting their debut self-titled album. They were in our studio Friday, June 7th. Check it out right here!
