Blitzen Trapper is an experimental country and folk band from Portland, OR. On Feb. 22 they played a sold-out show at Antone’s for the first installment of KUTX’s fifth birthday concert series, and now they joined us in Studio 1A to play a few songs off their newest album, Wild and Reckless. Released in 2017, this is the band’s ninth album. As always, Eric Earley’s storytelling skills, along with the heart-wrenching melodies, make for a theatrical listening experience that evokes a variety of emotions.
