Bully 2.4.2016

With a hit song titled “Trying”, it’s ironic that the band Bully pulls off such a seamless delivery of their galvanizing music. Bully carries a razor sharp tone that is highlighted with Alicia Bognanno‘s coarse vocals. Coupled with their electrically charged sound, Bully releases a loud proclamation of passion and revolt captured in their album, Feels Like. The Nashville band consists of Alicia on vocals/guitar, Clayton Parker on guitar, Reece Lazarus on bass, and Stewart Copeland on drums. Drawing similarities from Kurt Cobain, Courtney Barnett and Hop Along, Bully eviscerates listener’s ears with high energy tracks like “Trying” and “Trash” are two songs that truly seize the emotions of frustration and anger in their lyrics that weave effortlessly with piercing guitar riffs and thunderous drumming.

Bully stopped by Studio 1A and showed off their musical prowess as they finish up their tour having played at The Parish on Thursday, February 4th. You can also stream their music here on KUTX.
