Cayucas exemplifies the paradigm of sunny, care-free, and often refreshing music. One listen will instantly draw your mind to dreamy thoughts of watching the sunset on sparkling sands, breathing in the fresh sea air, and forgetting how to worry. In fact, the name Cayucas is an homage to the California town by the name of Cayucos, a place that time seems to have forgotten over the past 50 or so years. Cayucas has captured the spirit of this “sleepy little seaside town” and continues to seamlessly transcribe it into a lo-fi blend of ethereal surf-pop.
