Although Christian Bland is best known as the guitarist for The Black Angels, his solo work with The Revelators highlights his signature sound and contributions to one of modern psychedelic rock’s biggest bands, while providing an open canvas to explore different ideas and influences.
The Austin-based psych rock quartet has been promoting the release of their second full length album Pig Boat Blues, which is now available for purchase and online streaming. Christian Bland & The Revelators are also slated for 2015’s highly-anticipated Austin Psych Fest Levitation, so they’ll be playing shows around town until then.
