Austin-based singer-songwriter and Americana artist Colin Gilmore delivers laid back refrains and a unique Texas touch.
The Lubbock native and son of Jimmie Dale Gilmore, Colin Gilmore grew up surrounded by music and was influenced not only by his West Texas roots, but a healthy helping of rock and late 70’s punk as well. Combining these influences into a direct and accessible mix of rock, pop, and country, his evolving style and distinct tone consistently relay a disarming sincerity. Gilmore’s most recent album The Wild and Hollow, released in 2013, plays with ease, combining his steady rock trappings and sweet pop melodies with a touch of Americana flair.
