Craig Finn is a born storyteller and luckily for us, his medium is rock.
The front man for Brooklyn rock quintet The Hold Steady and the now-disbanded Minneapolis indie alt-rock group Lifter Puller is gearing up for his sophomore solo release. Since 1995 Finn has released three albums with Lifter Puller, six with The Hold Steady, and his 2012 debut solo album Clear Heart Full Eyes, which was recorded in Austin.
Craig Finn’s lyrics heavily use the third-person narrative style, intertwining pop culture references with a recurring cast of characters. When Finn isn’t lending his voice and guitar to The Hold Steady, he’s promoting his new album Faith in the Future, due out in September.
