The Digital Wild, a group fresh out of Austin, describe themselves as a mix of Trip Hop, Indie Rock, Folk, Electronic, and Hip Hop. Those are a lot of styles to claim, right? But when you hear them it’s easy to tell why the six-piece attest to so many musical genres rather than trying to squeeze inside one neat little box; they’re truly something all their own. The genre defying sextet will be debuting their first album, Into the Digital Wild, January 17, and we’ll be hosting them here at KUTX for a live studio performance the day before, Thursday January 16 at 4 p.m. We have the product of that session RIGHT HERE!
