Adrian Quesada has always been a bit of a workaholic, juggling multiple projects simultaneously over the years. A creative musician with multiple skills – playing, writing, recording – kept his time in high demand. Eventually, something had to give. After stepping away from Grupo Fantasma, the band he co-founded, a few years back, he begin to focus and slow down a bit. He still launched and toured with Spanish Gold and his band Brownout, but about a year ago he took – for Adrian, anyway – a break, and spent the time in his studio finishing up Echo Hotel, the latest album from The Echocentrics.
