Ha Ha Tonka makes indie rock with a Southern twang. The band took their name from the Ha Ha Tonka State Park in their home state of Missouri. The foursome of Brett Anderson, Lennon Bone, Lucas Long, and Brian Roberts fuse rootsy rock and contemporary indie for a sound that’s all their own. On September 24, they released their fourth full-length record Lessons via Chicago’s Bloodshot Records. You’ll be able to hear some tunes off the new record when they play Stubb’s Saturday November 23.
But you can tune into KUTX for a preview of the show when Ha Ha Tonka swings by the station for a live session with us on Saturday, November 23 at 4 p.m.
