Jack Wilson at KUTX 6.17.13

Jack Wilson, Austin-born musician and sometimes-resident of Seattle, is a country-folk artist who has been writing songs since he was 18. He hit his musical stride with the release of his self-titled debut record in 2010, and he has been touring and making beautiful, evocative music ever since. Wilson has played with some well-respected names, including The Lumineers, Bob Schneider, and Shakey Graves, and he has done some beautifully haunting recordings for Austin’s own The Good Music Club. Keep an eye out for his new record, Spare Key, out June 18th.

Wilson’s CD release party is this Thursday, June 20th, at the Mohawk, and he plays with The Preservation and Roger Sellers. Wilson also stopped by our studio on June 17th, which you can check out right here!
