It’s been 36 years since Johnny Goudie saw Cheap Trick in concert as a teenager. That one event spawned a life full of multifaceted musical contribution and passion for the Cuban-American singer-songwriter. The Miami native now lives in Austin where he works on his music as well as his podcast “How Did I Get Here?” interviewing fellow Austin musicians about their experience playing in the city.

Johnny Goudie announces the upcoming release of his new solo EP “Leper Hands” on Thursday, Sept. 13. This four-track record heavily features Goudie’s piano playing, mixing in vintage guitars and upbeat drum beats with his smooth indie-rock vocals. Goudie will celebrate the release of “Leper Hands” with a release show at One-2-One Bar also on Thursday, Sept. 13 with supporting act Aaron Stephens. Doors are at 7 p.m., with Aaron Steohens at 7:30 p.m. and Johnny Goudie on at 8:30 p.m.
