Lee Ann Womack 5.30.19

On her latest album, The Lonely, The Lonesome, & The Gone, Lee Ann Womack broke with her longstanding Nashville roots to record in Houston’s legendary SugarHill Studio. For Womack, the move allowed her to explore other musical styles outside of her comfort zone. The result is a collection of songs that blend Womack’s contemporary country with blues, soul, gospel, and more. She stopped by Studio 1A to perform a few tracks from the album while in town for a two night stand at The Cactus Cafe.  Listen to the session below and follow along with her tour in the links provided.
