Venezuelan band Los Amigos Invisibles are musical legends in their own right. Their remarkable career began in an appropriate fashion, when David Byrne discovered them in the early 1990s, and they have been touring ever since. Band members Julio Briceño, José Luis Pardo, Armando Figueredo, Mauricio Arcas, José Rafael Torres, and Juan Manuel Roura began making music in hometown Caracas, Venezuela, where their music is frequently at the top of the charts.
The Grammy-winning band brought their energetic music, a fusion of funk, jazz, and Latin pop, to the KUT studios Thursday, June 6, for a great show.
