Mariachi El Bronx is not what you think. At all.
While the name points to their musical style, Mariachi El Bronx is actually a mariachi performing alias for hardcore punk band The Bronx. Founded in 2002, The Bronx has been releasing mariachi music as well, dropping their first album in 2009. The group now has three mariachi albums alongside another trio of hardcore material. Mariachi El Bronx brings a fusion of opposite worlds to a listening device near you.
