The internet knows OK Go- it’s seen their videos, each millions of times. The latest, Writing on the Wall, features a series of optical illusions, following suit of the other wildly creative internet phenomena. Remember the Rube Goldberg in time to music? Remember the one with toast art? Or the one with the treadmill dance?
There’s a certain magic found in these one-take videos produced by OK Go. It’s perfection, but with just a few quirky human wrinkles as most were shot all in one take. These videos have helped OK Go survive and even excel in the post-album world where music lives on YouTube.
For now, OK Go is out of the warehouse making music videos and out on the road on tour. They performed a show at the Parish on their stop to Austin. Find OK Go’s unique brand of quirky fun here at KUTX’s Studio 1A!
