Otis the Destroyer’s new EP Belushi has just the right amount of cowbell, but pushes the limit of how much rock n’ roll can be packed into eleven minutes. Buzzsaw rhythm guitars and caustic leads fill this turbulent release from the Austin quartet. Otis the Destroyer pull off the ferocity of records like Raw Power, but like the Stooges before them, one comes to love the sonic assault by the end of the record.
