Austin band Quiet Company‘s pop-tinged indie rock has reached the ears of many over the last few years.
Formed in 2005 and fronted by Taylor Muse, Quiet Company’s been steadily increasing their reach and acclaim, receiving a multitde of Austin Music Awards and international praise along the way. Theirs is a strand of indie rock reminiscent of the early 2000’s, lyrically honest, built upon warm keys and full guitars. The band’s previous release We Are All Where We Belong, dealing with the loss of faith, saw them expand their audience exponentially, which they then followed that up by re-releasing their 2006 debut in the form of a newly recorded re-imagining of the album. Quiet Company is now releasing their fourth full-length album Transgressor, which was recorded over the course of two weeks.
