Rubblebucket 4.3.19

Rubblebucket from Brooklyn, NY carry an indie-pop sound that is so dreamy, it may feel as though you’ve been in a musical coma for several years while listening to them. Luring the listener in with bouncy bass-lines held together by a slow pulsed synth, the band’s songwriters consisting of Annakalmia Traver and Alex Toth take you down a rabbit-hole of their artistic creation with nearly every track they put out. This trance-like intensity is what fuels the group’s newest LP, “Sun Machine“, and the aptly named record sees the group revisiting their improvised jazz origins with lots of spontaneity sprinkled throughout the track list. To hear this frantic and changing sound live check out Rubblebucket’s full Studio 1A interview and session below, and to listen to their newest record, “Sun Machine” click here.
