Sharks in the Deep End 6.22.17

Sound the alarm because Austin punk outfit, Sharks in the Deep End, are back in the water and we couldn’t be more excited. This homegrown group dabbles in new-wave punk with a hint of indie rock thrown in; their eclectic music was influenced by greats like New Wave, David Bowie and The Killers. The result is an intensely energetic sound that is entirely their own; full of wicked guitar licks, howling vocals and cheeky synths. Their latest track “Tears Run Dry” marks the first in a series of single releases that the band hopes to drip feed over the coming months, culminating in their next, no doubt, awesome EP. They piled into Studio 1A to showcase some of their favourite tunes, ahead of their release show at Stubbs. Check it out below!
