Shibboleth, an archaic and complicated word for a sort of secret language, is a fitting name for this peculiar and complicated band. Originally from Dallas, Texas the trio makes existential-elevator music; gloriously uncool, entirely instrumental and incredibly clever. Their tunes may make you feel like you’re on hold with a spooky, gothic dentist or listening to the soundtrack of an old italian horror movie, but either way it will put a smile on your face.
