Soloists in America @ KUTX 10.20.14

The healing power of music is important for the duo in Soloist in America. The two, Miguel Gamboo on violin and Hector Saucedo on cello, play their classically crafted music at nursing homes, retirement centers, veterans events, and children’s homes. Traveling wherever they can the two share their music with the community of central Texas. The goal for Soloist in America is simple and clear- to share happiness and music with others.

The two weren’t always here in the States sharing their music with the community. Gamboo and Saucedo began playing in cities like Monterrey, Guadalajara, and Mexico City until their fight against narcotrafficking gained attention from the wrong people. Gamboo and Saucedo have now redirected their efforts to sharing music and encouraging education, community and the performing arts.

We hope their music brightens your day! Below you can find their performances at KUTX’s Studio 1A!
