Texas fiddlers Tricia Spencer and Howard Rains showed off their foot-stomping old time music during Eklektikos with John Aielli on Monday. Their rustic arrangements are coated with intricate ornamentations and tight harmonies. Their acclaimed sound can be heard on their albums The Old Texas Fiddle Vol I & II and The Old Man and the Old Woman.
Spencer & Rains will perform at the Austin String Band Festival on Saturday, October 17th and during the Festival of Texas Fiddling on November 7th.
