Welcome to Summer Stock Austin‘s 11th Season!
A unique program in the United States, Summer Stock Austin brings together high school and college students from all over the state to undertake three different productions alongside University faculty, as well as local and national theatre professionals. The experience allows all of its selected participants to build, design, perform, and assist in a multitude of different areas regarding production, while working as a traditional theatre company. This season’s program is set to include the classics Guys & Dolls (opens July 24th), Tortoise & the Hare (opens July 26th), and Into the Woods (opens July 29th). Various workshops, camps, and alumni performances are also scheduled to take place.
Summer Stock will be held at the Long Center for the Performing Arts from July 24th – August 16th, and you can take a peek at their performances right here on KUTX.
