Tele Novella 3.8.16

Put your knee socks on, mold your hair into a beehive shape, avoid marrying anyone with the last name Spector, and open up your ears for Tele Novella’s sugar coated 60’s inflected pop. Rising from the ashes of Voxtrot and Agent Ribbons, Austin’s Tele Novella can do surfy pop, indie psyche, and the playful melancholia of Belle and Sebastian equally well. After a few well received EPs they’re finally releasing their debut full length album sometime this fall. While you’re waiting for its arrival, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to see the Austin group live, perhaps at their SXSW showcase on saturday 3/19? You can also see them at the Lolipop records/Onward Indian party at Spider House on 3/18. Want to avoid the SXSW insanity? You can get the next best thing to seeing them live by listening to their Studio 1A session at the bottom of the page!
