Telekinesis

Seattle indie rocker Michael Benjamin Lerner (better known by his stage name Telekinesis), has been steadily releasing albums and EPs since 2008. He was only 21 at the time, but incredibly talented and self-assured in his driving lo-fi indie rock/pop sound. That being said, his lyrics told the complete opposite story: carefully chosen words painted the picture of a man full of self-doubt and confusion. His latest release, Dormarion (which was named after the street in Austin where the album was recorded under supervision of Spoon’s Jim Eno), keeps the sound consistent while marking a change toward a more self-assured Telekinesis.

Telekinesis recently stopped by Studio 1a to play live on KUTX . Check it out HERE!
