The Districts 6.27.17

The Districts have been described as a well oiled machine, filthily cult-like and just normal guys; all we know is that they make some killer music. Formed in Pennsylvania in 2009, this high school band is all grown up. After eight years together the boys have distilled their sound into a potent, indie-rock cocktail that hits you hard and fast. Their latest release, Popular Manipulations, is the final cut of fifty possible tracks and was produced by industry veteran John Congleton. The album is brimming with charging guitar, searing vocals and crashing drums; all undercut with a drone-rock reminiscent of The Velvet Underground. The boys dropped past Studio 1A to spin some yarns and play some tunes. Check it out below!
