These Mad Dogs of Glory @ KUTX 12.3.14

The Dogs are loose once again.

Since founding in 2010, Austin-based quartet These Mad Dogs of Glory has blurred the lines between roots and rock n roll. Following a self-titled debut in 2011, These Mad Dogs of Glory has buffed up their roots rock with alt-country elements, producing a blend of twangy guitar riffs, pedal steel, and old fashioned rock n roll energy. The gritty and raw sound on their second album Sweet Appalachia earned the group a place on both David Brown and Laurie Gallardo’s KUT Top 10 of 2012 list, securing These Mad Dogs of Glory a solid fanbase in Austin and beyond.

This month marks the release of their latest record Isle au Haut, due December 5th. The album includes twelve new songs, three of which are available for streaming on the band’s website. You can catch These Mad Dogs of Glory on Friday, December 5th at the Mohawk or stream them right here at KUTX!
