Austin’s Très Oui sounds like the soundtrack from some unreleased John Hughes film with awesome 80s tinged power pop full of bright guitars and crooning vocals. While still relative newcomers to the Austin scene, Philidelphia transplants Nate Cardaci (guitar, vocals) and Seth Whaland (bass) wasted no time in recruiting Doran Rawlinson (drums) and Steven Garcia (guitar) to put out the Singles Going Nowhere EP in 2016. Now little more than a year later and the band is set to release their first full-length album, Poised to Flourish via Austin Town Hall Records.
