White Ghost Shivers 8.9.16

White Ghost Shivers have been around town for nearly two decades and for a good reason. If you have yet to hear them, their music brings to life a blend of 20’s & 30’s ragtime, vaudeville with a splash of western that is full of awesomely fun energy. Their songs have clever lyrics and vocal melodies, intricate gypsy-based guitar lines, percussive banjos, honks from clarinets and are held together by the upright bass. With a combination of their music and their wonderful ability to perform, White Ghost Shivers can truly transport the listener to the times of flapper hats, bobbed hair and sequined dresses.

Watch out this weekend for the release of their latest single, “Crosseyed Traffic (MOPACalypse Now)” and be prepared to celebrate with them both Friday and Saturday, August 12 & 13, at their release party at C-Boy’s Heart & Soul. For now, catch a sneak peak of the single and enjoy their Sutdio 1A session.
