MapJam, our daylong moveable music festival, uncovers the hidden spaces in Austin where music is played and showcases the diversity of music being made here, including bluegrass, hip hop, punk, Conjunto salsa and more.
And when the NPR Music “Heavy Rotation” series wants to know what public radio music stations are playing, they turn to KUTX for insights on the Austin music scene. To date local artists Dana Falconberry, Israel Nash, Miranda Dodson and Max Frost, to name a few.
