On Friday, March 14, KUTX and four of public radio’s most influential music tastemakers — The Current (Twin Cities), WXPN (Philadelphia), WFUV (New York), and KXT (Dallas) —  presented a special showcase and live radio broadcast and webcast from the SXSW Radio Day Stage at the Austin Convention Center. The live concert and broadcast featured performances by Damon Albarn, Lucius, The Hold Steady, Phantogram, Jeremy Messersmith and Temples.
