From a young age Elise Davis knew she wanted to play the guitar. She joined her first band, The Sandbox Lizard at just 12 years old and played with them throughout high school, releasing her first of many records when she graduated. In May of this year she released her EP, Life. The album portrays the turbulence of Davis’ journey into adulthood, in short “Life is not always pretty.” Her sound differs from contemporary country, but also resembles Nashville roots music. Elise Davis has recently been signed by Lyle Lovett’s management, so we encourage you to catch her in the intimate Cactus Cafe setting while you still can.
