Arcade Fire Live 10.28.13 @ 9pm

KUTX has teamed up with other Public Radio stations and NPR Music to bring you a live Arcade Fire concert on Monday. A couple minutes after 9 p.m. the band will perform for a small audience at Capital Studios in Los Angeles in partnership with KCRW. The performance will be simulcast to a select number of public radio stations across the country, and KUTX is one of them.

Arcade Fire will play mostly material from its new album, Reflektor, but they’re reserving the right to play some old favorites. We’re expecting them to play an hour, perhaps a bit longer.

How to listen
The easiest way will be to tune in to 98.9 FM in Austin. Full-fledged stereo and as loud as your ears (or neighbors) can handle. If you’re not around a radio, just click on the LISTEN button at the top of the page and then on KUTX.

Reflektor is out in stores the very next day, Oct. 29.

Just another reason to love and support public radio!
