The Austin Music Minute is supported by Howler Brothers, an Austin-based designer of creative outdoor apparel since 2011, and by Planet K, Austin’s local hemp emporium since 1990.
It’s a fine thing to be swept away by the serenades of Sweethearts Only, the debut LP by KUTX Artist of the Month alum Sentimental Family Band. It’s some of the sweetest country sounds around. But Camille Lewis, Kyle Albrecht and Matthew Shepherd bring a variety of influences to their original music from performing with different artists – Dana Falconberry, Molly Burch, Dead Recipe – before forming their own band in 2019.
Don’t miss Sentimental Family Band’s show Thursday night at The White Horse, starting at 10 p.m. Beth Chrisman‘s Missy Beth & The Morning Afters kick things off at 8 p.m., and Billy Broome rounds out the night just right at the witching hour. Make your way to the dance floor.
