Who: Anthony da Costa is no stranger to the stage. The 23-year-old songwriter has been making music since age 10, and performing professionally since age 13. Add to that an impressive roster of big-name artists he’s opened for: Loretta Lynn, Suzanne Vega, Judy Collins, and actor/writer/humorist Nick Offerman, to name a few. Now he’s performing with a full band, DaCosta, and a debut album is on the way.
What: DaCosta is the Cactus Cafe‘s featured artist in residence this month, with shows each Monday night in October.
When and where: The residency continues tonight, with doors at 7:30 p.m. The Deer opens the show, followed by DaCosta. Very recommended.
