Who: Austin-based quartet The Deer
What: They just released the first single, “Do Return” (featured on today’s Austin Music Minute) from their forthcoming album, Tempest and Rapture, along with a lovely new stop-motion video created by songwriter and vocalist Grace Park, all in anticipation of their big show with KUTX’s November artist of the month, Wild Child.
When and where: See Wild Child and The Deer perform tonight at Stubb’s Waller Creek Amphitheater, 801 Red River. Doors at 7 p.m. Following the show on Stubb’s inside stage is a set by Daniel Eyes and The Vibes at 10:30 p.m. Excellent all around. Recommended.
