This show’s going to be twice as great – new music releases paired with a gargantuan line-up of excellent local bands! Check it out:
– Sam Chown, one half of experimental mind meld Zorch (with Zac Traeger), has another musical project, Shmu. A new Shmu album, Shhh!!!!, will be out soon, and Chown is offering a sneak preview with the track “Pictionary.”
– The newly renamed Stiletto Feels (formerly known as The Big Fist) has had a full-length in the works for some time now. One of the tracks off the forthcoming album is “Steal Your Guitar.”
Both Shmu and Stiletto Feels have teamed up for a mega “Double Single-Release Show” tonight at Empire Control Room, 607 E. 7th St. And just look at the huge show tied to it, featuring special guests Black Books, Chipper Jones, Future Death, Isaiah the Mosaic, Dana Falconberry, BLXPLTN and more.
This is a lot of local talent under one roof in one glorious night. Get your butt out there early to see them all. Recommended.
