The Early Bird really is one of the coolest deals around. They totally get that you might not be able to catch any live music late at night. You’ve got work in the morning. You’ve got the kiddos. You can’t be out galavanting at 11 p.m. or 1 a.m., like your crazy Austin Music Minute maven. Absurd.
Not a problem. The Early Bird music series features live music by local artists at very reasonable hours that won’t leave you sleep-depleted. Today, the spotlight is on the ever-awesome hip-hop group Magna Carda. Best to head out right now to get to The ABGB, 1305 W. Oltorf, by 6:30 p.m. the start of the show. And it’s free.
It also doesn’t hurt to have pizza and beer available. Did I mention beer? Yes? Recommended.
