For Your Pleasure

Roxy Music made its first appearance on Top of the Pops in 1972 with their debut single “Virginia Plain.” Something glamorous and avant-garde struck a chord in the pop realm, and for many, the attraction to the band’s seductive and dazzling style was instantaneous. It was comprised of so many different talents, not to mention the electronic wizardry of Brian Eno. And at the helm, songwriter Bryan Ferry brought all these talents together for some extraordinary magic.

Ferry’s solo achievements are also nothing short of brilliant, with a captivating style combining class, fashion, and a vocal delivery that sways between sensual and brooding.

You’re in for something magnificent tonight. Bryan Ferry performs at ACL Live at the Moody Theater, 310 Willie Nelson Blvd, featuring special guests Judith Owen with bassist Leland Sklar. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., and the music starts at 8 p.m.

Let the swooning begin. Very recommended.
