Here comes the tidal wave of holiday parties, and the Austin Music Minute would like to recommend a very cool one for this evening: A Hanukkah party that rocks! There will be a menorah. There will be dreidels. Dude – there will be a DJ spinning traditional Jewish tunes of the season. (Yes, there was a request for latkes, but we’ll see.) And…there will be an abundance of rock ‘n’ roll, which, of course, is perfect for any great party at Hotel Vegas.
Austin-based psych-folk rocker David Israel has put together an excellent line-up for his fab Hanukkah Bash, happening tonight at Hotel Vegas, 1500 E. 6th St. Israel shares the bill with The Zoltars (featured on today’s AMM), Street Dads, and Tres Oui. Doors at 9 p.m., and the music kicks off after 10 p.m.
Happy third night of Hanukkah! And may you enjoy all the awesome music that goes with this local celebration. Recommended.
