The words, “I’ll break your heart again,” enter one ear then promptly fly out the other. Are lessons ever learned? Is happiness a real thing? Fingers crossed, wishes made, but it’s hoping against hope. Lolita Lynne‘s newest single “Leave Me Alone” crosses this threshold, ever mindful of too much time spent inside one’s head.
Following the recent release of the single “Existential Dread,” Lolita Lynn follows it up with the latest track and its accompanying video, featuring a dance performance by Sabrina Ellis (Sweet Spirit, A Giant Dog) and dancer/choreographer Alexandra Achieng Ligawa. And let us not forget the huge virtual release show this week with a line-up including performances by Mama Duke, KUTX April Artist of the Month Calliope Musicals, Daniel Sahad (Nané), Tiarra Girls, Yadira Brown, Soia, Kendra Sells, and many others.
