Perfect timing. This year, Love Austin Music Month coincides with KUTX’s 10th birthday, and we’re celebrating all year with the KUTX concert birthday series. One of those birthday shows is a residency at C-Boy’s Heart and Soul, starring multi-talented musician, singer and songwriter Tony Kamel (Wood and Wire).
New Year, Old Friends is a happy hour residency presented by KUTX and The Next Waltz at C-Boy’s, featuring Kamel backed by a full band with a special guest joining him each week. This time, it’s producer and founding member of The Greencards, Kym Warner. So basically, warriors at the strings. Watch those fingers fly.
Catch Kamel and Warner tomorrow night, Thursday Jan. 12, at C-Boy’s, 2008 S. Congress Ave., 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. The C-Boy’s residency continues through Feb. 2.
