Here’s a music series presented by Self Sabotage Records with a name that will stick in your head, which is a good thing. You need to remember it.
Me Mer Mo Monday is all about some of the best experimental and not-easily-categorized music you may not have heard yet, putting the spotlight on artists that just might be under your radar but definitely worth checking out, an extraordinary evening with outstanding talent. Tonight’s line-up at The Volstead, 1500 E. 6th St., featuring performances by composer Marcus Maurice‘s ambient project More Eaze, pulseCoder electronic artist Kyle Evans, Man Woman Friend Computer mastermind Thomas Echols (featured on today’s Austin Music Minute), Future Museums composer Neil Lord, and artist Charles Russel starting the show at 7 p.m. The evening includes visuals by EYEON, and DJ sets by ProgScot and Warm Star.
It’s an early show that kicks off at 6:30 p.m. Swing by after work. Recommended.
