Next year, local pop-rock outfit The Rocketboys are set to release their third album, following a busy and prolific 10-year career in the local scene with their music reaching national audiences through film and television, and taking on several tours including a few opening for major acts, plus getting the opportunity to work with Grammy Award-winning producer Joe Chiccarelli. No signs of slowing down, of course, as they also prepare for another tour throughout the East Coast and the Midwest in support of the new music. A couple of weeks ago, they offered a preview with the release of the new track “You and Everyone Else,” featured on today’s Austin Music Minute.
You’ll hear that and many more new songs when The Rocketboys perform tomorrow night at Stubb’s indoor venue, 801 Red River. Doors open at 8 p.m., and Canopy Climbers start the night out. Check it out.
