Blues guitar legend Jimmie Vaughan and Hammond B-3 ace Mike Flanigin have been giving Austin audiences a treat for several years with their regular trio shows C-Boys Heart & Soul. For the first time these long-lost blues brothers have recorded and released their musical magic on the new “Live at C-Boy’s” release.

Recently the dynamic duo stopped by KUTX to discuss their musical escapades on the air with Jody Denberg. They talk about the passing of their legendary drummer Barry “Frosty” Smith (who appears on the album), working now with another drummer of renown, George Rains, the dynamics of working in a trio, playing with Billy Gibbons and Eric Clapton and tons more. Scroll down for tons of opportunities to see them live and be sure to listen to Jody Denberg’s interview with Jimmie Vaughan and Mike Flanigin at the bottom of this post!
