Our August Artist of the Month is San Antonio native Jay Wile, who moved to Austin almost two years ago, after graduating from Texas A&M in College Station. The new EP, Better Times, is a collaborative effort. Wile worked with several Austin and Texas producers including Stefon Osae, JaRon Marshall, Billy Blunt, and Larce Blake, and includes a duet written by artist and longtime friend Akshara Parashar on track “Anyway.” (Are you a choir nerd like me? The two were in the Texas A&M a cappella group Swaram – check out their 2017 1st place performance.)
