These Fine Moments [Break It, Bought It] – 4:00pm @ One-2-One Bar
These Fine Moments are Hilary Kaufmann and Robert Watts, an Austin, Texas based duo with an honest blend of folk, pop and depression that borrows from ‘70s pop/rock (a la Fleetwood Mac, Hollies, Beatles) and American indie (Jayhawks, Decemberists, Shovels & Rope).
Their songs convey rich imagery and weave stories and situations of joy and pain, love and loss, and wanting and wanting not, delivered with strong co-vocals and parallel harmonies.
