KUTX is proud to support HOME Cookin’ for the Holidays, a live stream event on December 6 featuring music videos, cooking tips, and holiday stories from Austin musicians. The event is presented by HOME (Housing Opportunities for Musicians and Entertainers), a 501(c)3 charity that helps musicians 55-and-older in the Austin area with housing needs.
Hosted by Turk Pipkin, this stream will showcase music videos, cooking tips, holiday stories and shout outs from all of your favorites, including Bob Schneider, Ray Benson, Jackie Venson, Leo Nocentilli of The Meters, Hot Club of Cowtown, Bill Kirchen, Marcia Ball, Sunny Sweeney, Marcia Gay Harden and more. There will also be a a special tribute to Ms. Lavelle White, HOME’s first client and the inspiration for the org’s creation.
